A scent for the soul…or rather the soles. Here at Design & Paper, we love stories that surprise and delight—and this one does both: a perfume crafted just for feet, paired with packaging that is playful, bold, and downright delightful. Step into a design concept where beauty meets functionality, and everyday rituals become fresh, sensory experiences. Croatian creative agency Señor decided to celebrate 10+ years in the industry by bottling the feeling of a good idea knocking your socks off.
Enter Fussnota – after all, why shouldn’t there be a fragrance for feet?
Partnering with an artisan perfume maker, they created Fussnota – a niche fragrance for feet. It’s one of those ideas that walks the line between “wait, what?” and “this is brilliant” – equal parts tongue-in-cheek and meticulously designed. After all, why shouldn’t there be a fragrance for feet?
They describe the scent as a barefoot walk through freshly cut grass in a bergamot garden, a lazy break on a blanket with a slice of Spanish lemon cake, and a cedar-scented nap in the afternoon sun.
It’s a cheeky, beautifully packaged ode to that moment when a creative spark hits just right.
The scent is described as a barefoot walk through freshly cut grass in a bergamot garden, a lazy break on a blanket with a slice of Spanish lemon cake, and a cedar-scented nap in the afternoon sun.
Señor took inspiration from classic premium perfumes for the packaging, and developed it in collaboration with the paper specialists at Europapier Adria. The box consists of two parts, lifting the lid reveals a blooming base, evoking the feel of unwrapping a gift every time.
Embossing highlights the typography on the lid, while low-relief print enhances texture and brings out the depth of the colour through light and shadow. The name is additionally highlighted with glossy UV lacquer. On the inside of the box, rose gold foil and spot gloss create a layered relief revealing subtle design details. The warm foil tones complement the delicate pink of Koehler Eco® Rose Quartz 350 g/m2 paper and contrast beautifully with the greenish lid in Koehler Eco® Sage 350 g/m2.
The final touch? A darling little bag with a satin ribbon, foil stamping in a third colour, and die-cutting, because the outside matters too.
For the bag, Koehler Eco® Rose Quartz 270 g/m2 was used.

Koehler Eco® was the ideal choice for the packaging
Koehler Eco®, previously here, is our new range of 10 solid-colored natural papers made from 100% recycled fibers, certified with the Blue Angel. The range of colors is impressive, consisting mainly of muted colors, inspired by the variety of colors that Mother Earth provides us with every day. The green tone of Sage is noble and soothing. Rose Quartz, on the other hand, captivates with its delicate yet earthy shade of pink. Available in 120, 270 and 350 g/m2, Koehler Eco® is exclusively available at Europapier Group.
Supporting Fussnota was a true pleasure and honour. The idea was so strong and clear that the paper suggestion came in mid-conversation – the moment Señor agency presented the concept, I immediately thought of Koehler Eco, a 100% recycled eco-friendly paper. The rose and sage shades felt like a natural choice – both visually and in terms of values, a perfect match for the project. Projects like this give us hope for a future of sustainable and smart creativity. -Katja Milković, Europapier Adria d.o.o.
The perfume is available via Señor’s webshop, in case you need a little comfort for your soles. And if you were wondering – yes, you can wear it on other parts of your body too.
