Recently, Layo Lab creative studio had the privilege to collaborate with Hopen.Co on a transformative branding project, that seamlessly encapsulates the essence of their vision and ethos into a distinct visual identity.

At the heart of Hopen.Co’s brand identity lies a profound concept — a fusion of architectural design and sustainability. Drawing inspiration from the interplay between technology and nature, the design concept underscores the harmonious balance between innovation and ecological consciousness. By integrating architectural elements such as building heights, structural shapes, and unique angles, the branding design embodies the systematic and sustainable features of construction, while also reflecting the creative essence of the design company.

Central to the identity is a bespoke typeface named Hopen Sans. This is a testament to Layo Lab’s commitment to originality, innovation, and thorough concept design. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Hopen Sans seamlessly integrates architectural elements into each character, evoking the raw and straightforward nature of architectural structures. The condensed style accentuates the towering presence of high-rise buildings, while the ink trap details symbolize the dedication and responsibility ingrained in Hopen.Co’s design philosophy.

The logotype, featuring the Hopen Sans brand type and a three-dimensional logomark, is a powerful symbol of the brand’s architectural prowess. Its minimalist yet impactful design exudes familiarity and memorability while offering versatility across various applications. Complemented by a contemporary green-black-gray color palette, the visual identity exudes modernity and strength, with green symbolizing the convergence of technology and nature.

The identity includes stroke line graphics, a robust column grid, vertical bars, which all add clarity, functionality, and a visual narrative of architectural layers. In essence, Layo Lab’s collaboration with Hopen.Co has yielded a visually compelling and conceptually rich brand identity that encapsulates the essence of architectural brilliance and design innovation.
