Koehler Eco® Black and Dark Grey – The Green Alternative In The Deep Black and Colored Premium Papers Segment

Koehler Eco® is the new tinted paper range made from 100% recycling fibers, which consists of two homogenous, deep shades: deep black and deep grey, developed especially for the exclusive packaging sector. The range impresses with a natural look and feel, through a special, rough haptic and particularly rich colors, which are produced using a carbon-free staining method.

The range is harmless to health and the environment, while not compromising on key features where it excels, such as resistance to abrasion, color migration, or bleeding (it does not rub off in case of humidity). Koehler Eco® Black shows excellent lightfastness and is very close to, or even above the level of fresh fiber products. Furthermore, the range is acid-free and ph-Neutral.

To celebrate this unique assortment, we introduce our Koehler Eco® Brochure, which is an elegant A5 folder realized on Koehler Eco® Black, 270 g/m² and finished with hot foil and screen printing. Inside, the brochure contains two print samples each of Eco Black and the new Dark Grey color in 120 and 350 g/m², to spark your creativity and invite endless visionary projects!

The green alternative: Koehler Eco® Black is FSC recycled, Blue Angel, and EU-Ecolabel certified

Due to the production from 100 % secondary fibers and the eco-certifications, Koehler Eco® papers are the green alternative in the sector of high-quality packaging.

Products that bear the FSC Recycled label have been verified as being made from 100% recycled content. The use of FSC Recycled products can help to alleviate the pressure of demand on sources of virgin material, thereby helping to protect the world’s forests.

Blue Angel is the eco-label of the German Federal Government for more than 40 years. Products and services are viewed in their entirety, are particularly environmentally friendly and at the same time meet high standards of occupational health and safety and usability. (It requires the use of recycled fibers 100% post-consumer and prohibits the use of optical brightening agents.)

The EU Ecolabel helps consumers to identify products and services that have a reduced environmental impact throughout their life cycle, from the extraction of raw material through to production, use, and disposal. It is recognized in all member states of the European Union, as well as Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland.

Excellent printing results & elegant character for creative applications with high-quality finishings

Koehler Eco® shows great printing results in offset, screen, flexo, and letterpress printing. For laser and inkjet printing, a printing test is recommended. It excels in applications from high-quality packaging and bags to brochures and book covers, decorations, menus, and creative design applications, to luxury cards, calendars, art prints, hobby papers, business cards, and many more. The deep shades provide an elegant character for all creative applications, especially when combined with high-quality finishing effects such as foil embossing, lamination, spot varnishing, folding, and embossing, to name a few.

Europapier Group is proud to be the exclusive distributor of Koehler Eco® and we offer it in 120, 160, 270, and 350 g/m² in 72×102 format.
