20th Creative Club Exclusive Customers’ Party – Creative Vibes Sparked Again In Budapest After Two Years Of Postponement

Europapier Budapest organizes a spectacular event called “Creative Club” for their exclusive customers every year. Due to the pandemic, for the last two years, no event could be organized, but then in late spring of 2022, Creative Club made a come-back with a BANG! Over 400 guests attended the lovely venue of MILLENIUM HÁZA, where, in a fair type of setting, they experienced the magical world of Design Papers available at Europapier.

While the educational presentations by ArjoWiggins, Favini, and Garda had a strong focus on sustainability in the paper world, the eventful day included supplier presentations, gifts, and even paper magic tricks

The 2022 Creative Cub kicked off with the Managing Director of EUROPAPIER BUDAPEST Szabolcs Borosnyai welcoming the event goers and introducing further Group Managing Team members, who gave short toasts to the participants. To spice things up a little, before the three presentations began, the host, actor Géza Kaszás, announced a quiz after the presentations, with 2 surprise gifts per supplier for the fastest correct answers. Then, ArjoWiggins, Favini, and Garda gave presentations that were translated into the local language, with the focus point being on sustainability in the paper world.

After the presentations, delicious finger food and drinks were served on the terrace for everyone, with, of course, the menu and drinks cards printed on each supplier’s paper. All participating suppliers brought and presented lots of catalogues, that were waiting for the customers after the presentations. In total, eight suppliers took part in the event, all of which were able to display their best products in a stand-like setting out on the terrace: Favini, Mondi, ArjoWiggins, Lecta – Cartiere del Garda, Koehler, Reflex, Sappi, and Yupo

Chocolate Boxes: on Reflex Coffee Paper

And as if the beautiful setting and inspiring presentations wouldn’t be enough, gifts were given at each stand. For example, Reflex make a box out of Coffee Paper (inside was coffee chocolate of course) and Koehler had a gift of four intensely colored Color Style Recycling boxes with delicious chocolates.

The night went on with more entertainment, including a renowned micro magician Ferenc Kőhalmi charming the crowd by conjuring up papers. Kőhalmi performed magic tricks at every counter with cards that were pre-made from each supplier’s paper – laser-cut with rounded corners and the exact name of the paper on the card. The Hász Eszter duo provided the background music, which created a pleasant atmosphere.

The additional program included two master letterpress printers and two laser cutting specialists introducing and involving participants in printing and cutting designs, which they could take home as a memento. András Szoboszlay, a graphic artist also painted and drew on the papers of the 8 suppliers, inspired by the beautiful building, and the location. The idea was to test the papers from an artistic point of view, how paint, pencils, etc. work on them. The suppliers received the finished artwork as a gift.

Invitation cards printed on Pergraphica High White and Natural, both in 300 g/m2 cardboard, laminated together.

At sunset, an impressive LED show performance by two local artists which displayed both the Europapier logo and the Design Papers catalogue, was organized to surprise the event goers and end the night on a good note.

The invitation cards were printed on Pergraphica High White and Natural, both in 300 g/m2 cardboard, which was laminated together. On one side you can see the invitation text, on the other side, you can see Gabriella Murai’s business card – the main organizer of the event, together with the Europapier logo underneath.

After the inspiring event, we’re especially delighted that real-life events can happen once more, and we’re looking forward to the 21st edition of the Creative Club next year! Below you can see our impressions from the eventful Creative Club 2022.
