Final Call: Posterheroes Design Competition Deadline on 22nd of August

This is the final call to enter Posterheroes 14! The international social design contest is challenging creatives worldwide to craft posters that explore humane empathy and the transformative power of kindness — this is your chance to imagine a world where empathy spreads like seeds of beauty and connection.

This year’s theme, Seeds of Kindness, invites participants to reflect on how small, compassionate gestures can ripple outward and create meaningful social change. The competition encourages designers to think of kindness as an active force — one that can bridge divides, nurture communities, and cultivate a more humane future. Whether subtle or bold, your poster can become a visual seed that sparks dialogue, empathy, and hope.

Established in 2010 by the PLUG Association, Posterheroes has grown into a celebrated platform of social design, drawing participation from tens of thousands of creatives globally. Over 15 years, it’s garnered more than 25,000 poster submissions, with jurors from 110+ different countries evaluating powerful messages on social and environmental themes. Each year, the competition’s winners receive recognition through exhibitions, calendars, and catalogs — produced with the support of Favini, whose high-quality papers bring these impactful designs vividly to life.

Deadline: 22 August 2025
Don’t miss your chance to take part in this meaningful challenge!

Beyond recognition, Posterheroes also celebrates winning works with meaningful awards, including the Favini Mention (€2,500) and the Fondazione Time2 Mention (€1,500). But more than prizes, the competition offers a chance for your ideas to travel the world — through exhibitions, calendars, and printed collections on beautiful Favini papers.

Entering is simple: download the brief, create a poster (70 × 100 cm, in English) that speaks to the theme, and submit up to three designs online by the deadline. Learn more and apply here!

For many creatives, Posterheroes is not only a competition but a platform to amplify their voice, connect with a global community of designers, and show how visual communication can inspire kindness and change.
