Bösendorfer Notebooks – a Beautiful and Grand Customer Gift Which Everybody Wants To Have

Last summer we cherished Piano Manufacturer Bösendorfers’ Vienna Secession Inspired Product Catalogue, and now, the well-established piano manufacturer and a great example of Viennas’s famous craftmanship tradition, has produced gorgeous notebooks, which have been given as a Christmas and New Year gift for their customers, upon visiting their Salon in Vienna.

With a passion and devotion to building world-class pianos since 1829, Bösendorfer’s brand is well-established and respected. Representing as one of the oldest and strongest brands in the country, Bösendorfers brave steps into a new era with a new refreshed visual identity by Zündel Branding has been winning them praise.

With the successful reception of their internationally distributed catalog, with a stunning cover featuring a gold foil printed pattern mimicking the famous gold pattern of the Vienna Secession, that was used on the lid of a custom-built concert grand piano by Bösendorfer. The beautiful gold pattern has now become synonymous with the brand’s identity – offering a visual memory of the love of music and the effort they put in their craftmanship in building these instruments.

Lindenau Productions, who has implemented creative ideas for its customers for the last 30 years, was responsible for the graphic design, the paper choice, not to mention the careful supervision of the printing production and finishing process of the one-of-a-kind notebooks

Based in Vienna, the print production agency Lindenau Productions offers implementation and monitoring of print productions, graphic design, packaging design, final artwork, image processing, and certified proofs.  The beautifully crafted notebooks follow the aesthetic of the previously published catalog, with some changes to the visual details and hot gold foil stamped pattern on the cover. The open thread stitching with gold thread and the stunning gold trim together with the premium paper choices create a luxurious notebook – that everyone wants. The black and gold combination follows Bösendorfer’s elegant brand identity that masterfully combines tradition, innovation, and passion.

The reaction to Bösendorfer’s new notebooks has been overwhelming – with many people inquiring about their purchasing options. But these beautiful paper goods were created and reserved solely as gifts for Bösendorfer’s customer

Pergraphica Classic Rough 100 gsm premium uncoated paper made in Austria, which is ideally suited for high-quality printed materials, was chosen for the core papers. As an interesting feature, the first 8 pages of the notebooks are 150 gsm while the rest is 100 gsm. The cover is made of Gmund Heather Coal, the world’s first solid-colored, embossed cardboard with a genuine leather haptic. The high-quality board elevates the feel and touch of the notebook, giving it a luxurious feel. Furthermore, Gmund’s Heather design paper was chosen considering its durability when placing the notebooks in and out of bags and the hot foil tests were successful.
