Klammhöhe is the name of an Austrian mountain pass as well as of the restaurant located on its top. Roland Radschopf, Art Director of Vienna based design studio DEMONSTRATIVE developed an stylish corporate identity for the restaurant and for its homemade products like pestos, jams, juices and salads. The restaurant promises “highest quality”, not only geographically but also in its delicious product range. This message was communicated via the cool, contemporary visual appearance and in the brilliantly produced advertisements. The basis for the range is the letter “K” from “Klammhöhe”, which is rotated 90 degrees, it then forms a mountain on the one hand and a table on the other hand. A clever trick that echoes the creativity, inventiveness and quality of the brand.
See below the humorous “making of” video showing how the signature piece K tables were hand made, and exactly what farm animals sat on top of them!
