Edinas Paper’s New Cinderella-Inspired Window Display Brings A Touch Of Magic To The Streets Of Košice

Edinas Paper is a creative agency based in Budapest (previously featured here), creating bespoke, holistic paper installations for client shows that are looking to elevate their brand experience through cutting-edge design. Founded and run by the incredibly talented paper designer and visionary Edina Németh, the agency consists of a team of talented creatives whose combined experience from different fields of architecture, interior design, and marketing offers a special skillset to create one-of-a-kind paper works and installations.

Known for their showstopping designs which translate the team’s unwavering passion for the craft and paper as a material, Edinas Paper doesn’t follow a certain style but adapts to each client brand’s needs by effortlessly mastering numerous techniques, color schemes, shapes, and forms, while always reaching a high level of quality in both execution and concept.

The intricate, three-dimensional installation, almost fully made of white and gold tones, includes a kinetic part, the large clock in the middle which plays homage to the most famous scene from the Cinderella story

The creative agency’s latest endeavor brings the magic of a winter fairytale to the streets of Košice, through their wonderful window installation for a local jewelry brand EGNE. Located right in the city center, the high-end luxury jewelry shop and showroom is part of many couples’ fairytales as it’s a popular venue for engagement and wedding ring shopping. And to bring a touch of the magic of love to their winter season window, Edinas Paper’s team found inspiration from one of the most famous love stories of all time: Cinderella.

“We wanted to bring a little touch of fairytale magic to the streets of Kosice. The inspiration for this window installation was to create the mood of a winter wonderland castle interior with some elements that hint at the story of Cinderella”, the team writes.

We wanted to bring a little touch of fairytale magic to the streets of Kosice. The inspiration for this window installation was to create the mood of a winter wonderland castle interior with some elements that hint at the story of Cinderella.

In true Edinas Paper fashion, the installation includes, besides intricate laser cut, three-dimensional details, a kinetic element, which on this occasion plays homage to the most famous scene from the Cinderella story: when Cinderella falls in love with Prince Charming and he with her, her magical spell is broken as the clock strikes midnight. As she races off, she loses a glass slipper, which the prince uses in a kingdom-wide search to find his lost love. “In the middle of the window is a large clock that has a moving and lighting element, as when it hits midnight it lights up and then slowly fades away. On both sides of the clock, we placed a stairway framing the middle part while small leaves of pumpkins are cascading to create a truly enchanting effect.”

The three-dimensional installation, almost fully made in white and tones of gold, sets a beautiful stage for the EGNE jewelry boxes that are scattered around the window as tiny Christmas presents just waiting for the lucky girl to stumble upon. While fairy lights, and other stunning details, such as a carriage with horses, detailed pumpkin leaves, and a beautiful gate with delicate details framing the EGNE logo on top of the staircase – add to the magic of the window installation. So if you happen to be in Košice or close, make sure to pass by the EGNE window for some winter wonderland magic!
