Superkolor is a graphic design and risograph studio founded and run by two brothers Julian and Hendrik Klein, based in Münster, Germany. Superkolor advises, designs, and implements design concepts digitally and in print, with a focus on corporate design, branding, risograph printing, and creating meaningful digital appearances. Additionally to working on client projects, they create beautiful print designs, from calendars to posters in their own risograph workshop, for anyone to purchase and enjoy.
The specific process of risograph printing enables bold colors and vivid printing results
Risograph is an inexpensive, ecological printing process, originating in Japan in the ’80s that enables high-volume photocopying and printing in a unique style, resulting from its specific printing process. Soy inks made from vegetable soybean oil are used in the printing process which requires the use of uncoated paper – enabling bold colors and vivid printing results.
Superkolor creates stunning risograph designs, in a multitude of colors. “After 2020 being a year full of uncertainty, our 2021 Riso Wall Calendar is all about optimism in all its shapes and colors, about the joy in graphic design and the beauty of risograph imperfections”, Superkolor writes.

The Riso Wall Calendar comes with 12 months plus cover and wire clip, with each page uniquely printed in four shiny riso spot colors on 100% recycling paper. The calendar is designed in collaboration with Druckwelle, another German print and graphic design artist.
