League Mono is a mashup of sorts, inspired by some beautiful forms found in both Fira Mono, Libertinus Mono, and Courier. League Mono was created in glyphs using masters for the UltraLight, Regular, and Bold weights, and interpolated instances for the Light and SemiBold weights. Designed by Tyler Finck.

It all started with the idea of a revival of the Quirinus typeface, designed by Alessandro Butti and published by the Italian type foundry Nebiolo back in 1939. We first saw the typeface back in 2012 in the Vasil Ionchevâs book âĐšŃĐžŃŃŃŃ ĐżŃДз ĐČĐ”ĐșĐŸĐČĐ”ŃĐ”â (not translated in English) and instantly fell in love with it â it was a different kind of high-contrast design â way more technical-looking than the other didones.
