A Fun Stop-Motion Animation Telling The Story of VIA Felt from Tree to Postcard

EDINAS PAPER, in collaboration with Europapier Hungary, tells the story of Mohawk’s VIA papers

EDINAS PAPER partnered up with Europapier Hungary to bring some well-deserved attention towards Mohawk’s VIA Felt papers. Wanting to shine a light on the story of how the natural VIA papers are made, fun and educational stop-motion animation was created with solely using different tones of Via papers.

EDINAS PAPER believes that sustainable choices have to be a joint effort of all of ours, especially when it comes to corporate stationery or events. “At EDINAS PAPER we define sustainability as a combination of our in-depth understanding of the materials we work with, our product design know-how, working with a local supply chain and pushing our repurposing capabilities to a peak”, Németh explains.

Telling the story of how the VIA papers are made with a fun and educational stop-motion animation

Concentrating on one of the most important issues of today, EDINAS PAPER decided to emphasize the ecological production of the VIA paper by creating a unique world where the story of the tree that becomes a VIA paper and then a laser-cut postcard is told. The aim of the animation is to emphasize the importance of choice for the use of sustainable papers, so more and more corporations would opt for these materials.

Every good product starts at the source. And paper is no exception. In Mohawk’s case, all of their papers begin with fibre, water, and energy; critical natural resources that they have never taken for granted. And because Mohawk cares about the environment and is committed to a sustainable future, they source pulp from sustainable forests, use recycled fibre, conserve water, and harness wind power for their mills’ electrical energy needs. Their customers might not know all this when they touch the paper, but they are witnessing the culmination of careful material sourcing and time-perfected techniques. The papers used for the animation are Via Felt 220 g in colors of pure white, jute and flax – all exclusively available at Europapier. Enjoy the video below.
