Andrea Gere Luxury Skincare Packaging Follows The Brands Empowering Message

Being the seventh generation in one of Hungary’s most prestigious winemaker families, Andrea Gere’s – the owner of the luxury skincare brand Andrea Gere Skincare – life has been interwoven with growing grapes and making wine since early childhood. She further studied the positive effects of grapes on human skin while traveling in Spain. Ans after returning to Hungary, she started to use this knowledge in the Gere Estate Hotel’s beauty salon. As a result of years of research and development, a unique grape seed oil and micro-grain grape seed powder were born – the most important ingredients of Andrea Gere’s range of skincare products.

“We track the raw materials of Andrea Gere Skincare from the beginning to the end. Cosmetic companies usually buy their oil, whereas we see the vines blossom, cultivate them throughout the year, harvest the grapes, make wine from them, and immediately dry and grind the seeds. So, we are attached to everything that is made of our grapes” – Andrea Gere, the brand’s owner explains.

The development of the products was made in and by a Swiss laboratory that is considered one of the most professional laboratories in the world. That guarantees the uncompromising world-class quality that is a trademark of the Gere Estate. The most important task of the laboratory was to create a cream that combines the exceptional qualities of organic grape seeds and the latest achievements of cosmetological stem cell research. The Grapelove range embodies the family’s absolute commitment to quality and makes Andrea’s long-cherished dream of a cosmetic brand based on their raw materials come true. Using the products of this brand is a good investment for your skin.

“Colors play a prominent role in our lives. Our color choices for Grapelove also reflect our attitude to life. The color red makes us feel empowered and more confident and it also radiates vitality. Red is also the color of trust and life energy. Gold is considered the color of sophistication, value, and elegance.”

Such luxury product demands an equally elegant bran experience, with packaging being a vital part of it. Especially in the massive skincare market, positioning your brand correctly is vitally important. Andrea Gere brand does that well with their stylishly minimal yet powerful packaging choices.

“Colors play a prominent role in our lives. Our color choices for Grapelove also reflect our attitude to life. The color red makes us feel empowered and more confident and it also radiates vitality. Red is also the color of trust and life energy. Gold is considered the color of sophistication, value, and elegance”. Andrea Gere chose these colors to represent the luxury skincare line based on these above-mentioned qualities. And the same logic followed when deciding on materials used in the packaging – which was designed by Zsolt Unger from Unger and Partners, a multi-awarded design agency in Budapest whose team has been designing and implementing successful brand concepts since 1996, with more than 50 brands on the market today.

“We needed a white paper to print the brand’s carefully chosen colors on, beige and coral red.  The choice was Classy Covers New Millenium 120 g/m2 white. The embossed surface structure gives uniqueness and elegance to the box and makes it even more luxurious.” The surface of the luxurious packaging is offset printed, and the print colors are custom-made – prepared in the ink lab, especially for the brand. The packaging also includes hot foil stamped details in classic Champagne Gold color. The box’s structure is made with a recycled rigid board, with both in- and outside covered with printed paper. “We wanted to avoid the use of plastic inserts, so the inner part of the box works as a die-cut rigid board insert and holds the top part of the box as well.”
